Highway Heroes

Mary’s Mount Primary School takes pride in its commitment to providing a comprehensive Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) program called BEST Programs 4 Kids, which includes Little Highway Heroes (K-PP) and Highway Heroes (Year 1-Year 6).

This curriculum focuses on nurturing social, emotional, and learning skills in children. SEL involves equipping children with the abilities to identify and manage emotions, demonstrate care and empathy towards others, foster positive relationships, make responsible decisions, and effectively handle challenging situations.

These skills play a crucial role in promoting a child’s mental wellbeing and enhancing their capacity to learn.
