 At Mary’s Mount Primary School, we are dedicated to embracing the benefits of 21st Century learning by exposing our students to a variety of technologies, including iPads, MacBooks, and PCs. Our goal is to ensure that our students become digitally literate and responsible users of technology, enhancing their learning opportunities and preparing them for their future educational endeavours.

TECHNOLOGY PROGRAMS

  • 1:1 iPad Program: Students in Years 3 to 6 participate in a 1:1 iPad program, funded by an iPad levy.
  • Coding and Robotics: We offer BeeBots, Makey Makies, OzoBots, Osmos and Lego Mindstorm to develop coding skills as required by the Australian Curriculum.

CYBER SAFETY AND DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP

 We understand the importance of guiding children through the digital landscape. Our holistic approach to cyber safety involves collaboration with families to support children’s digital development.

  • Online Safety Hub: This resource provides practical insights and advice from internationally renowned Online Safety & Digital Wellness Experts, helping parents understand and support their children’s online lives.

By working together, we aim to develop healthy and responsible digital citizens who are well-prepared for the challenges and opportunities of the digital world.
